Children & Youth Programs
We believe any serious strategy for creating a more sustainable and equitable culture must include children. Youth are the future of our communities, and we believe they deserve a rich, exploratory childhood with ample access to the outdoors, and in settings where their curiosity and imagination are fostered and celebrated. Our youth programming initiatives are designed to offer supportive, dynamic, and fun play and learning experiences for children and adolescents, to empower the next generation to be compassionate members of their communities, and conscious stewards of the natural world.

Little Explorers: Year-Round Nature Play Group (For Children 5 and under)
The Little Explorers Nature Play Group is a year-round group of children and their caregivers who come together the first and third Wednesday mornings of each month to explore and play in the natural world. Our permaculture farm spans across 18 acres, and is surrounded by an additional 100+ acres of family forest -- an ideal setting to play, explore, learn, and grow. Outside of severe storms and snow closures, this group meets year-round, and in all of the weather conditions Ohio has to offer. This group is hosted on a donation-basis and contributions will go towards continued land stewardship and a shared tea/farm snack. As much as this is a community for little explorers, it's also intended to serve as a community for parents/caregivers, and attendance and supervision of your children will be required for the duration of sessions. Visit the link below for more details about the group and for registration.
